I’ll be at Mount Vernon today-was already planned and ticket purchased before I knew about today. I might ride the Metro this afternoon just to figure out the system. If I go all the way into DC, I won’t stick my head out; just hop the next train going back out!
Fell asleep while catching up on all the news last night. Lots to read.
Bulls**t!
This was no candlelight vigil, this was an attempt to terrorize @HawleyMO’s family, his wife & kids, and neighbors, you made that very clear.
This is what those leftist socialist anarchists want to do to this country, tomorrow Georgia gets a chance to reject them! https://t.co/9SQxe6bHlG pic.twitter.com/MBTsBRIeSf— Reagan Battalion (@ReaganBattalion) January 5, 2021
I loved Mt. Vernon, especially the backyard looking over the Potomac.
Poor General Washington only was able to visit twice over the 8 years of the Revolutionary War.
Upstairs is the bedroom he died in. Felt very reverent there, kind of like Little Round Top at the site of the 20th Maine’s defense at Gettysburg.
Have fun and rest up for tomorrow.
