Here’s a ‘sideline thought’ about the DC Lockdown . . .
What about all the residents of DC and how this affects them and what they can do.
Many work in DC and have to get back and forth to work.
Granted a lot may use mass transit, etc.
Wondering what the average DC-ite is thinking...
We toured DC a couple of years ago and our taxi driver knew the city inside and out.
Was wondering what he thought about all of this.
Of course he would be used to all of the DC goings-on from administration to another and all that means for the ‘residents’.
He mentioned that we did pick the right time to be there since Congress was not in session and the city was ‘calmer’.
We look at DC from an aerial view, but was wondering about the ‘man-on-the-street’ view.
We all be God’s children........
I posted this tweet yesterday from a lady whose friend lives in the DC area.
Lady Nancy MAGA
Good Morning, patriots!
A friend lives by the Mall in DC. She said soldiers/police are everywhere, roads blocked, razor wire on fences. Her building concierge: expect to stay here thru the 21st, no deliveries -food, mail, packages- no transportation.
For an inauguration?....
LG~~Looks like place is totally locked down, not any fun to live there.
Hope they all were prepared with food on hand and supplies but I bet they weren’t as many go to store daily or out to eat.
Excellent post. Lots of thoughts. Wondering if the lock downs there is for their safety. They expect massive riots? They want to protect our innocent Americans. Razor wire isn’t for us. It’s for terrorist. My thoughts.
Most office-type people are working from home these days because of COVID. In an agency-wide meeting I was in yesterday, they said 96%+ of our workers are working from home.
Last time I was in the office was mid-December 2019.
