My husband has spent the Covid lockdown ordering kitchen appliances and gadgets. He rarely cooks, and I think his stuff is unnecessary crap. I’m trying to de-junk the house, and he is adding to it.

I understand but I think he has time to think about his love for you....and perhaps be careful and not hurt his feelings. If you quietly donate some to the salvation army as I do...just make him feel he's responsible for helping others. Sounds like you have a Sweetie at home.
