Thanks. I admit I was very politically active in California, but have become very complacent here in a smaller conservative town. When my older grandson living here was in high school, he reported to me, at my behest, anything being taught about climate change, etc. In helping my younger grandson with homework, I discovered his teacher printing out common core math lessons, and I pointed out to her that it was not approved in Texas.

If common core math lessons are not approved in Texas, I wonder if the school is paying for them. I believe everything you use from common core costs money. It is a huge moneymaker for their global company.
