I thought as much, The British establishment don't want Julian going to the USA & singing like a canary... Imagine what might come to light to embarrass the British government

Important not to overlook that she only refused to extradite on health grounds. She agreed with the prosecution on all other points. Not a win for free speech

A diplomatic move?

The US will appeal. Almost free, but this is a good step for justice.

The Trump element of the US wants Assange freed. It's only the deep state that wants him banged up forever. ie Obama, Clintons etc

I can't believe the BBC on Radio 4 today needed another journalist to come on air and explain why it's bad for journalism if he gets extradited. The BBC are a joke, just an establishment mouth piece, as if there was any doubt anyway.

The journalist that they had on was a Guardian journalist who used to be a friend of Julian's. He was breaking down why it's bad for journalism, the sort of things the BBC should have been doing from the very beginning. But throughout they've been Person shrugging "oh well, too bad"
