These guys are losing money. No war, no money for them. When they start a war, pre-war lot of unaccountable dollars are distributed to who knows what war sector, a lot of people pocket that money. Loot of museums and other things are well distributed. For 4 years, no new war. All DC scums, families are working in one or other department, all job opening first filled by their own. It’s all a family affair.
You hit the nail on the head. These people’s livelihoods depends on war. Many congresscritters and their donors profit from war too.
