What a sweet hubby you have!
I don’t mind doing the drudgery of cooking everyday laundry, cleaning, because hubby would do the same thing, plus go outside in freezing cold weather to fix something. Or in the heat.
What is your temperature outside today? Ours appears to be 34 but we have snowflakes coming down.

I was surprised that the furnace wasn’t working as it has been a couple of months since it last quit.
It isn’t even 3 years old but the repairman said that the electronic boards they put in them are cheap.
Are they made in China?
