Mention of Kelly brings to mind the fact that lately there has been some talk of the military becoming involved in the current political imbroglio.

Today there is no certainty that when/if high level military leaders become involved in domestic political issues they will be dedicated defenders of a constitutional Republic.

Think of men like Kelly, McMaster and Mattis.
