I need to buy more sunflower seeds. I have a mixed bird seeds , but they don't like it. They want sunflower seeds.

LOL, funny how they get spoiled and want a different free handout. But I don’t know how they survive in the winter months without some help.
Hubby was complaining about the cost of sunflower seeds, so I mix it with a cheaper bird seed mix. Lately I’ve just been pouring the layers in without mixing it, and it looks pretty, Like a trifle.

Interesting to read, but I would like to know where these people are getting their information as well. Is this just another guy sitting at his computer, speculating about what he’d love to see happen, or does he actually have credible sources.
Frankly, there’s a lot of people out there telling us a lot of the same thing. I am wondering if they know what they’re talking about or if they’re just an echo chamber, reading and listening to each other and repeating it....are this group actually their own sources?
If this is all a bunch of hype and wishful thinking, they’ve done a heck of a lot of damage, and they should be tarred and feathered for leading people on.
I gave up on the mixed seed long ago. And it wasn’t a matter of them having something ‘better’ at the beginning then me switching seed on them. They never liked it. They always threw those pale round seeds out. LOL
So I gave up and got the straight sunflower seeds. I buy it in the 20 pound sacks so it’s cheaper; 40 pounds would be cheaper still but harder for me to handle.
I enjoy watching the birds so much it’s worth the cost to me. It’s like therapy.
