The ukulele is easier to learn than the guitar and other stringed instruments like the mandolin. Its soft nylon strings are gentler on your fingertips and don't create finger pain like guitars do. The small size reduces wrist tension because the notes are reachable without stretching. Plus, it only has four strings, which makes chord shapes and scales easier to learn.

Here is a video of several of the players in our dulcimer group. Most of us have a background in other instruments. So with some tunes they will pull out their old instrument, like in this example a uke and a flute. Then there is Cindy who plays the standup base all the time. She keeps the “beat” for us. ... saw a ukulele for sale I want to go back for.
Today I went back but the ukulele had a loose string that was not hooked-up well so I did not buy it. But I did buy my daughter an electric guitar and electronic drum set. And a flute. Then I got an email I could pick-up my 12.9 inches Liquid Retina display iPad Pro 2020. So I did that too. I spent about 1.400 euros today. A lot from the stimulus money.

I asked her to hold it the other way to fit the picture.
Toy poodle is proof of purchase.

I took this picture today,
This is a box attached to my MIL's (who is 93 years old) kitchen wall. It used to show numbers corresponding to the different rooms on who wanted the maid.
I kid you not.
