I just don’t see the House voting for any alternative slate or throwing out a slate of electors for any state.

They wouldn’t, Pence would toss both slates and then the candidate with the most accepted EVs would win. Trump.

Another possibility is that the Trump administration reveals evidence (perhaps evidence that cannot be revealed to the general public due to national security?) that will be compelling enough to cause the Senate and House to unanimously vote in favor of Trump’s re-election? Not sure this has been discussed but seems to me a real potential outcome. It may be that this evidence has not been presented to the public because it isn’t legally possible?

and I think this is where we are at.
Everything else about the election count law is in the favor of the certified slates of electors.
