The American people need to be educated about what it means to be invaded by a foreign power. Our history has taught us that we, a mighty nation bounded by two seas and spanning an entire continent, have never been invaded.
Then there was Pearl Harbor.
We became engaged in war then.
BUT
Since then, we have been lulled into a sense of physical safety.
Enemies have taken note.
It will not a be a physical, land invasion (at first). Hearts and minds must be made ready before that can happen. That’s what’s going on now.
We have people pushing for the erasure of borders and the dilution of the meaning and value of American citizenship (and by extension, the American citizen’s privilege of the legal vote cast and counted).
There have been many people clamoring that three of our Pacific states be jettisoned from the Union.
This is what we have to fight.
What does invasion mean, now?
If you ask “What does it mean to be an American citizen?” will you be challenged as being divisive, racist, hateful?
Who controls your flow of information?
The American people need to be educated about what it means to be invaded by a foreign power. Our history has taught us that we, a mighty nation bounded by two seas and spanning an entire continent, have never been invaded.
