So, you might or might not be amused, but I had a couple more interesting dreams over Christmas break. Christmas eve-ish, I think. Maybe the day after. I was going to write about it before, but ... yeah, it’s like that sometimes.

The first involved more fun & games in Tennessee (I’m not from Tennessee, but I have a friend there). Again, I was attending one of our favorite outdoor events, and I don’t know about your events, but one of our favorite things to do is the semi-annual late night ice cream run. Unfortunately, things went south, and there was no ice cream to be found.

In desperation, we went to the grocery store, only to find the shelves mostly bare, and an explanation. You see, another friend was looking to buy confectionary sugar, for baking, and she was told that “We don’t sell that anymore, because it’s used to make unhealthy things.”

Eventually, we found an ice cream counter at the back of the grocery store, where we were able to get our cone needs fulfilled. And then I woke up. (The dream could have at least let me enjoy the ice cream, what a letdown.)

Anyway, the next night, the fun continued, and this time, I was back at work. Specifically, my second day back at work. I was working away, but for some reason, I needed to go. Storm was coming, best get home before things get bad. (I’ve seen those portable stairway things get blown sideways down the flight line before, you know...) But I didn’t want to leave early, because it’s a new year, want to impress the boss, be dedicated, etc., but things were looking bad.

So, I, and some others headed out toward the gate to get to the parking lot and our cars, when suddenly the wind changed direction, started blowing real hard, and the rain started coming down. I (and a few others) sought shelter in one of the hangars, gotta love those 50’s bomb-proof hangars, and cautiously peered out across the plant/runway at what was going on.

To the east, there were six (!) tornadoes moving across the horizon. Looking closer, we saw things moving around in the tornadoes, being blown and tossed about. Upon further inspection, we realized that those were people.

Then, closer at hand, a tornado blew by and at the front of it were a bride and groom, and their attendants, and swirling around the back were the guests. It didn’t appear as though they were having a good time. After they blew by, things calmed down, storms are like that around here.

Then, from the northwest, a C-130 came in to land, and out the back came a bunch of my family members, some of whom are no longer with us, (and with one notable, missing, exception), and they came to join us and started setting up tables for a party. I asked them what the hubbub was, and they told me it was time for the wedding feast, I think. A feast of some sort, anyway.

And then I woke up. At 6:50AM, 5 minutes before my alarm would normally go off. And no cake for me. (sigh)

Anyway, I doubt that these mean much of anything, aside from I probably need to cut down on the spicy foods and Q threads. Hehe.

Happy Q year to yourself and the rest of the gang. I hope that the coming days bring very good news for all of us.

:)

(Oh, and by the way, guess where I am today?)

Hint: Work - day 1.

Bagster the Gypsy, dream interpreter.

The ice cream dream means you're going to have sex with Nancy Pelosi.

The tornado dream is about the perfect storm we've all been waiting for. The wedding means you will marry Nancy Pelosi.

If I were you, I'd never sleep again.

That'll be tree fiddy.
