Who picks the panel members; who determines what evidentiary material they consider, does their recommendations have to be followed?
This may explain why Congressman Louis Gomert attempted a law suit to force the VP to follow the Constitutional practice with a quick and certain outcome. Thomas Jefferson did this and became President Thomas Jefferson. No one in D.C. with that kind of courage today.
