The crew opens the rear hatch on the C5. There is a junk Cat V8 strapped tightly onto a pallet. After several minutes, they release the tie-downs. After communicating with the flight crew, the plane goes into a slight climb.

The half ton of iron rolls...slowly at first...and then gains momentum as it hurtles down the ramp, and plummets out the rear of the plane.

The cable tightens....

The C-5A was an ambitious airplane. Lockheed’s specs called for an aircraft capable of carrying an outside load of 250,000 pounds, or 125 tons, a distance of 3,200 miles unrefueled. With a 100,000 pound payload, the C-5A could fly 5,300 miles.

250,000 lbs/~250 might be able to get 1,000 commie traitors delivered per flight (including the weight of the junk Cat V8).
