Only the Clemson defense is having a worse night than Lin.
While 'jump the shark' is a pejorative based on what it came to symbolize, the literal act was an inspiring ego induced act of stupid bravery which was totally successful, fonzie landed just fine on the other side as I recall.
I'm gonna say this is both flack and actual shark jump, not figurative.
That is, the one's he is attacking deserve attack whether or not what he's attacking them for is true.
In a perfect world, such tactics would be uncouth. But conservatives live in an imperfect world, fight an evil enemy, and the stolen election is a billion times more uncouth, and the ones he's attaching are more than just 'supporting it by omission.'
I don't think Lin is hurting the cause, he's more riling up some of the troops, at a bit of cost, and some of the other troops are just a little too high browed for it. Ain't my cup of tea but if it fires up the divisions in my army, I'll take it, as I do not believe these are men of honor he's attacking, but are rather men who've sold honor for ambition at the cost of the most valuable thing we have, i.e. liberty.
