The work was done by Pennsylvania members of the legislature. They would be very experienced in the politics of this state and the intricacies of elections. I think they would know more than AP would know due to first hand experience. Everyone here knows full well that AP would say something like this no matter what the facts were.
What AP says will be repeated in a thousand TV newscasts and dead tree newspapers, before the truth even gets its' boots on. That's the real crime in American media today. 90% of popular news outlets don't even TRY to do their own research.

Those who fail to study history are doomed to repeat it. Those of us who DO study history seem doomed to stand helplessly by watching it all go down. *sigh*
