First problem is that the author eats American Cheese. There are so many other real cheeses to eat, why go for an oil based processed product?

This isn’t the Kraft style pasteurized processes cheese food. American cheese can be true cheese, but you have to get it at the deli counter. There are also choices better than Boar’s Head.

I think “cheese food” is vile. One has to look very carefully, since almost all the choices are cheese food. Kraft marks a perfectly good real American cheese, but not all stores carry it.

I remember back in the 70’s when the government gave the warehouse cheese away. My grandmother got some at the senior center. Was some damned good cheese. I believe it was American cheese.
