I don’t remember this, I doubt the McDonald’s in my area offered this.

I remember the McDLT and the McLean Deluxe.

McDonald’s has had a few products that never caught on and were discontunued.

I dont remember it, I think I was living overseas at the time.

Not much of a McDonalds fan but for me the best McDonalds era was the McSteak, McOnion Nuggets, and the salad bar, with one of those crazy shake flavors.

I dont actually remember what those products were actually called but I rather liked them then. When was that? Im guessing ‘74 ish? Maybe more like ‘76?

Never heard of it...
And I pretty much lived on fast food in the 80s and 90s and travelled a lot.

I got it a couple of times. It wasn’t as good as one from a cheap pizza restaurant (Dominos or Pizza Hut). It took longer to cook/warm up as typical McDonald’s food so if you ordered one you ended up having to park and wait for it.

I remember when they used to tell us how many hamburgers were sold.

The article is mixing up two different menu items.

McPizza was a pizza pocket sandwich available at select outlets in the mid 80’s. I used to get it regularly at the McDonalds in Wapakoneta, just off I-75 when I was going back and forth to college in the mid 80’s. I wasn’t available at all outlets.

McDonalds Pizza was actual pizza sold by McDonalds later in the 80’s or early 90’s at most stores.

I had a McPizza while traveling in California when I was in college. Fresno was the location. It was nothing special, and I was glad that it wasn’t offered all over the nation.

I really enjoyed McDs chicken wings about 10 years back. My kids worked there at the time and when wings were discontinued I inherited a 50 lbs bag.

Hard to beat the flavor of free.

I decided to check the dates, the McSteak Im talking about was not the ‘79 chopped steak. Years earlier there was minute steak version, at least there was one being offered in the Milwaukee area during that time with the onion nuggets which I just learned was ‘75.
