Not only cheaper and more readily available, but a much tighter wavelength
bandwidth, centered on the wavelength most specifically effective against
the dimensions and properties of virus particles.
It also has the added benefit of smaller size, lower power, and tighter delivery control of the UV irradiation power level.
This means more/faster damage to the virus, and less damage to
any/everything else.
Think of it as the opera singer who hits just the right note to shatter only certain sized tiny (virus associated) glasses.
It’s just science, the kind of which both myself, and obviously President
Trump (Who was right again, as usual!), are quite fond of.
