I got a UV light in early February. I use it a few times a week for 5 minutes or more. It is still going strong.

I got my daughter one in March. Same brand. It lasted about 5 minutes and burned out!?

I added a purpose-specific UV light to my furnace return duct that lights the filter, too, plus an under-shelf unit where I unpack the groceries.

The UV light in my HVAC lasted 9 years. Tech said he would replace it for $135. I bought it on Amazon for $27 and installed it myself
