You need to be more reality-based. This virus does bad things to people, not all the time, but often enough to be cautious. Sorry you don’t like the truth, and I hope you and your loved ones don’t get it.
She’s wearing glasses too. Lowers risk of getting viruses through eyes, something that COVID-19 propagandists aren’t mentioning as much.
If it’s UV-C it’s not safe for human skin, but works great on non organic surfaces.
the tough part is acquiring UV laser diodes. I worked with one for a chemistry conversion process last year. I had to beg the company that makes them to loan me a diode (the size of a cheap laser pointer you can get at Dollar Tree) because the cost is $4000 - $7000 depending on wavelength and power.
Very few companies produce them. I am sure that will change now.
Even when Trump is “wrong” (because science says) he is right.
Thought we knew this back in Feb.
UVC has long been known to kill viruses.
UVC wands and such have been for sale here in the USA since the outbreak started.

The newer HVAC air filters can use UV which can be put anywhere basically in the HVAX systems.
But it will kill the virus on your skin and your hair and your clothes. This is why shutting down the beaches this last summer was insanity. Also if you are in a crowd in the sunlight, you are safer than sitting alone in your apartment.

In her team’s research, they managed to kill the virus using cheaper and more readily available LED bulbs – 285 nm vs. 265 nm bulbs
Watch the price jump for these, and which all likely come from China
“What about for disinfecting sterilizing foods? Would it be bad to do that for foods?”
It would not harm the food, but would probably only kill viruses on the surface, exposed to the light. If some got mixed into the mashed potatoes for example, the food itself might shield some of the virus from exposure.
Thanks, I’m just curious about say buying groceries, then letting them sit under a light for a minute or so to kill any surface virus like on boxes, tomatoes, cantaloupe, cucumbers or whatever- instead of washing them all individually, making boxes soggy, some packages are semi permeable, so the contents woudl get soggy- but a light would prevent all that
