Vice President Mike Pence told CBS News' Margaret Brennan Thursday that he knew former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn had lied to him about his contacts with the Russians when Flynn was fired in February. Brennan spoke with Pence during the vice president's surprise trip to Afghanistan.

WOW! Even the FBI admitted in their notes they didn't think Flynn was lying. I'd heard Pence set up Flynn to meet with the FBI but didn't have proof handy from back then. So Pence worked to destroy/imprison Flynn and dealt a tremendous blow to Trump's strategy meant to enable the coup! I don't know how I missed/forgot that.
