JUST IN - #Cincinnati Police Department is investigating a suspicious RV parked near the Federal Building. Explosives experts assessing the vehicle.— Disclose.tv 🚨 (@disclosetv) December 25, 2020
CINCINNATI (WKRC) - Several streets in downtown Cincinnati have reopened after authorities were called to investigate a suspicious RV.
Police were called to Sixth Street near the federal building Friday afternoon to look into an RV that reportedly had its engine running. But police were able to get in touch with the owner of the RV and said it actually had a generator on, which made it sound like it was running.
The investigation was out of an abundance of caution following an RV explosion in Nashville Friday. Authorities in Tennessee believe the explosion was an “intentional act.”
The investigation has ended and all streets downtown reopened without incident.
