If you are referring to Ezra Cohen-Watnick’s recent appointment to the position of approving declassified info (or something of that nature) I didn’t see any removal of his current DoD position.

Perhaps I made a mistake in this regard? I thought the new appointment was a change in role/assignment - moving to the next phase of the operation.
We can take a looksee and find out. It seemed to me that the long list of recent Trump appointments were to various advisory boards which looked (to me but what do I know) to be part time positions.
