Nah uh.
Pence wouldn’t do the negotiating (leveraging) for himself (he’d lose negotiations with Trump) and had no reason to think Trump would want him around, dishrag that he was publicly. No wonder Pence was stunned.
Imo, this arguing back and forth about Pence is samey same as arguing how many angels can dance on the head of a pin.
We don’t even know what we don’t know on this issue.
