I tend to agree, he’d have told us if it was his last show. I think it’s obviously gotten harder for him to do the show and massive prep he doesn’t (stack of stuff) .... Rush is a fighter...

I read today that the show was very emotional for Rush. He was told initially he would not live to see this Christmas. That was the finite date he was referring to. The fact he made it this far is amazing. He appreciates waking up every morning, because at this point there were not supposed to be anymore mornings. The article makes sense if you take Rush’s earlier comments in that context. If what the author wrote was accurate, it makes sense. Rush was told he would never see another Christmas or a New Year, but then he beat the odds and made past that expiration date. That had to be very emotional for Rush. How many days we have with him, only God knows. Celebrate a persons life while they are alive, mourn them when the are gone but not one minute before.
