There was never any guarantee that China would stop with a single attack, by a single agent.
They appear to have decided that the U.S. and probably also the EU are much more vulnerable to biological weapons, due to greater concern for human life. Therefor biological warfare is highly asymmetrical in their favor.
They have calculated (correctly) that the U.S. is not going to annihilate them in response.
The ONLY good and effective response is the COMPLETE ISOLATION of CHINA from Western economies, leading to the collapse of their parasitical communist system over time (as happened with the USSR).
They BELIEVE they have now ELIMINATED the ONE MAN capable of leading The United States and the rest of the world against them.
Yet SCOTUS dithers.
There was a report last week that the WH was ordered evacuated - done in times of potential war. {unconfirmed} Did we come close? Is it still a threat? POTUS has gone silent and military personnel shuffling... ?

I agree with what you are saying, and I appreciate you making these comments.
I’d add that they love the population reduction factor of bioweapons, too. They have unleashed one on us that targets the elderly and people with comorbidities.
I would not be surprised if our novel coronavirus was designed to be with us for a long time, mutating, reducing population, and making all nation states look more like the CCP.
I’d say that the only way forward is to take down the CCP.
