Actually, the Grand County coroner was stating that deaths with COVID are broken out separately from deaths from COVID, but that the way they’re reported could be confusing to people who aren’t familiar with the way the stats are broken down. The suggestion was simply to modify the reporting to better clarify the difference between the two separate figures being reported.
The other issue is grand county is a small county in the mountains that has been totally devastated by a large wildfire this fall. They have had a lot more to do than worry about covid statistics
