Trump as a One-Term President Would Become DC's Nightmare
American Thinker ^ | 19 Dec, 2020 | J.B. Shurk

Forcing Donald Trump from the presidency while half of all likely voters believe the election was stolen from him (including a stunning one-third of Democrats) would backfire on Washington spectacularly.

Even as the president's legal team continues to dispute election results in battleground states with large numbers of questionable mail-in ballots and election anomalies, Establishment Washington is pushing Donald Trump out the door. What it failed to accomplish through four years of Deep State sabotage and bipartisan efforts at thwarting the MAGA agenda, the D.C. Club may have finally succeeded through good old-fashioned vote fraud. The District of Corruption is salivating over the possibility of freeing itself from a foe who has singlehandedly damaged the Swamp forever.

No victory could be more pyrrhic.

Forcing Donald Trump from the presidency while half of all likely voters believe the election was stolen from him (including a stunning one-third of Democrats) would backfire on Washington spectacularly. Trump is too ferocious a competitor and too powerful a cultural force to ever disappear into a retirement not of his choosing. At least 75 million Americans voted for the president because, among other reasons, he is seen as an "outsider." Now Washington insists on making him a martyr, as well.

What will happen if President Trump leaves office in January? He will instantly become the most consequential and powerful ex-president Americans have seen. Making Donald Trump a one-term president will become Establishment Washington's biggest nightmare.

Just as illegal as vote fraud. That didn’t stop the Dems, any longer it should not stop us.

Yes, but there are solutions at the state level for vote fraud, which we could not mobilize. On the other hand, such an interstate compact will be shot down by the Constitutionalists like Thomas in a minute. With prejudice. Once SCOTUS rules on it, any state official persisting with such actions will become an instant lawbreaker, and none will so dare.

“Mar a Lago might become the modern day New Republic Whitehouse.”

That’s what I was thinking.

“If the Left succeeds in forcing President Trump from office, they’ll waste no time taking him into custody.”

I agree. The Attorney General of NY has more or less promised to do so.

Exactly, they mean to kill him - and his family - just like the Bolsheviks did to the Romanovs.

"3) Red states will form alliances on the intention of riding out ALL draconian orders from DC"

Aren't such interstate compacts un-Constitutional?

Who stopped all the "woke" states from denying any business with states that wouldn't allow gay marriage or transgender bathrooms?

The entire point here is that when the government is lawless and the courts won't do their proper job, others won't feel the need to follow the letter of the law. Yes, there will be prosecutions; but there will be too many "resistances" to manage.

The best is potentially yet to come.

Many are watching closely, more so now than ever before.

And they can now see for themselves how the media and big tech are actively denying access to this information.

And ... they can also find this information for themselves now, too, on new, competing media outlets who aren’t censoring the truth.

That’s their alarm clock. It’s ringing for the “woke” who are still asleep.

I think the best is yet to come.

biden is a “Pretend President.” lacking legitimacy and validity. He was not duly elected. His dictums carry no more Federal government weight than the guy next door.

This kabuki is nothing more than an embarrassment that reflects on every single supporter of biden and Heels.

Including our so called Congress...every single one.

I heard a rumor that Trump hid all his tax forms at the bottom of the ballot boxes. Democrats just need to audit the votes to find them.

A stolen election, by definition, does not have the consent of the governed.

The SDNY and the alleged Indictments “ready to go” is pure BS.

The allegations of undervaluing of assets to lower taxes is done by every property owner when trying to lower real estate taxes and the over valuing of those same assets is also done when looking to borrow from commercial lenders.

Banks never accept borrowers valuation of collateral when considering a loan but instead have the property appraised by companies who specialize in just that sort of thing.
