#692 __ Creek behind the house I’ll drink out of it if I have to

#714 __ Get a Berkefeld filter so you don’t get giardia.

Better yet, get two or four Berkefeld replacement ceramic filters, and two food grade, 5-gallon or 6-gallon plastic buckets.
Install the filters in the bottom of the top bucket, drill a half-inch hole in the lid of the bottom bucket.
For half the price of the Berkefeld, you'll have 5 or 6 times the water supply.

I’ve read about how to use food grade plastic buckets and the ceramic filters instead of the whole Berky, much cheaper. I got a Berk years ago and used it when water supply was catchment, tasted delicious and all weird anythings were taken out. I’d use on city water too, not nice chemicals in it. Much safer and better than just added purifying chemicals to water. Berks gets out everything pretty much and the water tastes fresh and good.
