I was young but admired Nixon because my Dad did.
He ended the draft and the war.... What’s not to admire/adore?

Right you are. He was very smart, savvy and angelic
when compared to the rotten criminal pols of today.
And, unlike most of today’s pols, Nixon was rabidly anti-communist.
Which is what ultimately took him down.
