I think I’m going to put in a call to Louis Gohmert’s office as well tomorrow. He’s not my rep, but he is from Texas. I did send notice to our rep too but I think Gohmert has more cojones.

I agree about Gohmert, he seems to be a stand up guy.

Letting our politicians know what side of the bread their butter should be on is something we can do. Short of CW2, the average citizen only has Prayer, letters, phone calls and the occasional rally as a means to fight.

Since I woke up to see we are in festival, I’m going to pose a strategy. Louis Gohmert has shown himself to be one of the good guys. It has been a difficult task to vote for Cornyn for many of us. My dad even voted for the libertarian dude this time to avoid Cornyn or the demonrat.

I have no clue if Cornyn will be outted in the plan to drain the swamp or if we’ll have to sit with him for 6 more years. Either way I think - with what we know now - that we should attempt to get Mr. Gohmert to replace Cornyn. I know that TX n Ma is in his district. (Courtesy pinging tx n ma)

A lot of us are at an age where thinking 6 years ahead is long term. But I intend to write representative Gohmert an old fashioned letter, an email and possibly call his Texas office to express my interest and support in him for Senate. I hated that we missed a primary opportunity this year.

But I am very open to other suggestions to replace Cornyn. And for a candidate like I think Gohmert is, I would go to work now. Since I already pinged TX n MA, I would be interested in feedback on Gohmert as your representative. What is your opinion of him?
