I think they are afraid of the riots and personal attacks it Trump should become president for a second term. Mob rule is scary, very scary if you are a wuzz and is not able to defend your self and your family and your property.

Civil war is even scarier. If public officials refuse to protect the Republic because of fear of violence from the Left's miliitias, then the president needs to invoke the Insurrection Act.
