The Khmer Rouge Ordered Cambodian citizens to hand in their firearms and they were piled up in the streets for all to see. Then many of those citizens ended up like the photo I posted above. This happened in the mid 1970’s. We should all remember this and Mao’s Great Leap Forward.
I worked with a fellow who was the last survivor of his 19 member Cambodian extended family. He was one of the ‘boat people’ who were welcomed to Canada.
