I see your point; but seems there is more than that. Erasing history is definitely important in communist takeovers.

Erasing our common history demoralizes us. Well, it demoralizes ME, so my assumption is, I can’t be the only one. It actually pisses me off, but since I can’t do a thing about it I am demoralized.
Which raises an interesting question 1) am I so demoralized that I roll over to a communist takeover or 2) I’m so pissed off that no communist dare raise his head in front of my piece of grass?
