Okay, anoter ignorance of mine is revealed. What is the difference between UCMJ proceedings and military tribunals?
I need a dummies on this topic.
Uniform Code of Military Justice vs Manual for Courts-Martial
Code of conduct versus Court Rules
For a primer:

In a UCMJ proceeding you are involved with someone that is subject to it. A serviceman or a civilian associated with DoD. While they are both courts-martial, tribunals aren’t confined to the same rules of evidence nor the punitive articles of the UCMJ for their proceedings.
