If both sides toss the rule of law out the window there’s nothing left for me to fight for in politics. In my mind the Constitution is the only thing that makes this country what it is and what makes it worth fighting for.

But the constitution is only a piece of paper with some ideas in it. It only gains power if the vast majority of a country believes and is willing to fight for those ideas.
Sadly that’s not the case nowdays, not even by the people assigned to protect it and rule by it. Reality is that the left has been more successful at undermining its support than we on the right have been at enhancing support for it.
So the 64K question is what are we going to do about it? Millions of armed to the teeth disorganized armies of ones like we are is not going to cut it. We desperately need LEADERS capable of coalescing us into an organized, motivated, unified fighting force. Trump is definitely such a leader but he’s only one and has little or no support from the rest of our so called “leaders”.
