I have to believe that the Supreme Court went with the Constitution this time. Their job isn't to please you or me or the President. Their job is to interpret the laws and the Constitution -- call them as they see them.
The more or less unanimous decision made that clear. Seven voted that Texas didn't have standing, and two (from "our" side) added the comment that Texas wouldn't have won on the merits, anyway.
After the Hail Mary (all the way from Deep in the Heart of Texas to Washington), it's time to go back to the ground game and push the other cases through the courts, while we keep cheering on the Trump team.
In an unfortunate way this shows that the Supremes aren't in anybody's pocket, not even the President's. When they eventually rule in Trump's favor, there will be less doubt about their motives.
And the schadenfreude will be even sweeter.
I have all the faith in the world that the plan is happening just as it should.
