The President is a petitioner isn’t he?

And in cases of NatSec, it would seem foolish if the SC couldn’t receive info considering the alternative way of resolving this.

The President is the final authority on granting Security Clearances in the nation. He may grant a clearance on a specific “Need to Know” basis for whomever he deems requires the information.

Maybe that meeting with the justices was to give them security clearances.
