I don’t see the problem with Huck Finn. After all old Mark Twain wrote the character’s name as N-word Jim in order not to offend anybody. Ha. Hmmm. Oh well. Guess I could see why they wouldn’t want kids reading that, why that old n-word might come tripping right of their tongues after that. Not that it ever did mine.
