Roy Blunt is my senator and I have written him rather chastising letters in the past when his votes don’t match the Trump agenda. So a “thank you” e-mail is going out today.

That is such a good idea. In the last 30 years, I think the reason the derps got derpier was that they knew we weren’t engaged, so there would be few consequences to their bad actions/votes and they’d just schmooze us in the months before an election.
As our lives got busier and we got more wrapped up in our technology, we stopped writing to them to complain or compliment and they quickly figured out we weren’t paying attention. Q got us completely engaged again and they need to be reminded that we see everything they’re doing and they serve at OUR pleasure.
