The article does not seem to be talking about exactly the same thing as the tweet by Robb Hurst. Hurst is saying that Ware County itself ran tests, while the article quotes Ware County as denying that "the Trump team was in possession of a voting machine from Ware County".
Nevertheless, Carlos Nelson, the Ware County official quoted in the article, is very definite that nothing happened with the vote counts. Therefore, I don't see how Hurst's claim can be correct.
