Grocery store, several restaurants and looks like there’s a Metro stop on the corner if you want it. I think you found a good spot to stay right in town.
So far so good. I did just now find a room at the Hyatt Regency for only $4 more ($169) a night. DOH! A better location and quite the digs for anyone still looking for a room.
I saw that parking lot you are mentioning, and a few more seem to be close by so that’s covered. Harris Teeter grocery store close by too.
I’ll definitely scope out the Metro routes.
