It certainly mirrors life doesn’t it. We never know what is in Gods plan for us. We pray for a certain outcome done according to OUR OWN plan Only to find He has something better planned for us and his plan is much sweeter (and more complicated ) then we could ever dream of.
Sort of reminds me of a healing sermon given by a sister in faith. She had gone to doctor for a pain in foot. Before she was done doctoring they had caught early cancer and repaired her heart. She didn’t even know those parts of her body needed healing but God did.
Keep the faith HE has a plan.

VERY true. I was just telling some friends last night about the miracle of my amazing Vision. After Decades of some pretty poor vision. About six years ago all I wanted was to go back to a prism of three. With a prism of 6 in my glasses I couldn’t see much at all. At any distance. And it was incredibly frustrating. I went to an ophthalmologist thinking maybe he could just reverse me and get my eyes used to a 3 again. He said there was a surgery for it and why hadn’t I had it yet? The idiot optometrists I went to never even heard of it apparently! Then it seemed to snowball quickly, Insurance approved it in record speed, got in for the physical, two weeks later had the surgery and back to a prism of 0! And then recently, all I wanted was the pain to go away. Well I got that plus cataract surgery giving me 20/20. Never even had anything close to that ever. Not even with glasses!
Lesson, I need to quit trying to run my own life. I just short Change Myself.
