My parents had a cast iron wood burning something that had a flat top. Was cozy warm and my mom used to slow cook beans or soup.
Well, I’m trying to remember if ours has a flat top. It’s been a while since I’ve seen it. I’ll have to ask hubby.
I guess I could slow cook a pot of beans in the living room :-)
