That’s a good one!

I had an Aunt (who lived in CA) that could make THE BEST divinity.

They say there is an art to making good divinity.

Do you make your own?

It is hard work! I’ve never been successful. I’m too impatient. Lol My grandmother made wonderful divinity, but she lived in South Florida, so she did not make it often. It’s too humid there. She would make it when she visited us if the humidity was low. The last time I tried, mine was more like a marshmallow cream. It tasted good but was sticky.

I also loved my grandmother’s fudge. She made chocolate and vanilla fudge. I loved the vanilla version the most. I don’t have a recipe because she made everything from memory.

I make the best divinity and grandma Lous caramels and peanutt butter fudge and ... 57 other cookies and candies. Give them away. This year there will be none. At least not until about February. Then we’ll bake a few Mexican wedding cakes, cinnamon stars, iced cut cookies some green pressed trees and peppermint chocolate drops. Maybe some of the white fruit cakes and a baklava I do miss an oven.
