Any way for Tennesseans (?) to change this UNFAIR process?

Pretty sure it’s set up that way in the state constitution, so would have to get the legislature to change it.

Short answer, no.

If I’m wrong....maybe. LOL Can’t remember if it’s been attempted in the past.

I’m not sure it’s unfair. I imagine justices know more about the duties of the AG, and the background of the candidates, than most voters.

Right now TN has 3 justices appointed by a Republican governor, 2 by a Democrat. So the appointed AG might be ok.

The question is how did a Democrat forever get elected?! Was Dominion used in that election?
