i need help

If one representative and one senator object on Jan 6, what happens?

I read about the 2 hours of debate and evidence being shown - hopefully publicly - but then What?

And I read that at some point each state gets a vote, but not each representative. And the GOP has the majority of States. does that mean the state legislators vote then?

But when does that vote happen? And how is it related to the objections?

And who is it that votes? I don’t think it’s state legislatures but it’s something to do with by each state. I could be wrong.... since as you see here, I don’t know anything.

I’d start by reading everything you can on the Ruthaford B Hayes election then read all the laws that happened after that including US v Hollingsworth. The re read the twelfth amendment — Then read Art of War.
Ignore all supposition and attacks on known conservatives stick with known US history.
The goal of the deep state is to destroy our country so they are sowing doubt about conservative leaders in ALL branches of the government. If you don’t know which ones just read the TT to see who has been attacked.
Unless you can produce an actual fact do not repeat the accusations. They are designed to disrupt and divide us. They weaken our great nation.

https://constitutioncenter.org/blog/explaining-how-congress-settles-electoral-college-disputes This is the best thing I’ve found so far that explains it, since there’s a lot of ‘it depends’ involved.

If an objection meets these requirements, the joint session recesses and the two houses separate and debate the question in their respective chambers for a maximum of two hours,” the CRS said. “The two houses then vote separately to accept or reject the objection. They then reassemble in joint session, and announce the results of their respective votes. An objection to a state’s electoral vote must be approved by both houses in order for any contested votes to be excluded.”

It also talks about the ‘second set of electors’ but states that a state legislature would have to send a second set to trigger that. None of the state legislatures have done so; it was done by the Republican electors themselves, best I remember.

I’ve noticed that the very front row of seats, in most of the churches that I’ve attended, typically have the most empty seats. They’re the best seats in the house, except for possibly the balconies, but for a completely different reason, and that’s because it’s a totally different experience.

If you want the Word of God to speak to you, sit on the front row. I guarantee His message will get through to you. You also have to be willing to make mistakes in front of everyone, especially if visiting a new church, because you’ll be just a tad behind the curve in the customs and practices, but the Lord won’t mind and will be pleased by an eager learner, even the rusty ones. Plus, by sitting in the front row, there’s virtually no one in your field of view to distract you from hearing and seeing the preacher deliver the Word of God.

I use the same practice... and sit in the front row of seats at live plays when available. It’s as if YOU are part of the play, and become totally immersed in the stagecraft.

Have done lots of reading of obscure work and here’s My opinion for what it’s worth. The entire congressional solution is plan B
Weeks ago during the Friday SCOTUS conference time Potus and three DOD heads visited the SCOTUS. In private. DJT asked for prayer from all.
That is the only way (from what I’ve read that top secret material can be presented to the court.
SC has scheduled PA for morning of 1-6. IMO a place keeper. Not sure how it will be done but believe the court has already received the classified material for them to not only nullify the top position but several other in congress. They will hear all election cases en blanc FRAUD nullifies all. US. v Hollingsworth.
That being said. The celebration begins at 11:00 with the congressional plan B on deck if needed at 1:00. By then fraud may already be a court proven issue. Pence throws out illegal vote. Chaos. Particularly if some member of congress have just been shown to be illegally seated. Good by Chuck and Nancy.
In Jefferson’s case he just chose the next president ( himself ). Hayes solves problem with a compromise for southern states after the civil war. They intimidation and fraud were handled two years later in US vs Hollingsworth.
In 1960 the entire HI EV were thrown out because HI could not settle their issue. (that’s very likely if Plan B is necessary. States are eliminated. ).
But all are moot if Our prayers for that Friday afternoon conference at 4:00 were answered.

"Not necessarily"

Why do you say not necessarily when the U.S.C. says it does?

Objections

Since 1887, 3 U.S.C. 15 has set the method for objections by Members of Congress to electoral votes. During the Joint Session, lawmakers may object to individual electoral votes or to state returns as a whole. An objection must be declared in writing and signed by at least one Representative and one Senator. In the case of an objection, the Joint Session recesses and each chamber considers the objection separately for no more than two hours; each Member may speak for five minutes or less. After each house votes on whether to accept the objection, the Joint Session reconvenes and both chambers disclose their decisions. If both chambers agree to the objection, the electoral votes in question are not counted. If either chamber opposes the objection, the votes are counted. Objections to the Electoral College votes were recorded in 1969 and 2005. In both cases, the House and Senate rejected the objections and the votes in question were counted.

The earliest I’m seeing the SC acting on any of the PA cases is 1/8. Have they announced they have scheduled a PA case for 1/6? Which case?

Dig to see why the vote was objected to and how many objected. Not all animals are equal.

“Contingent Elections
In the case of an Electoral College deadlock or if no candidate receives the majority of votes, a “contingent election” is held. The election of the President goes to the House of Representatives. Each state delegation casts a single vote for one of the top three contenders from the initial election to determine a winner.”

That answered one of my questions.

Now,off to find out what a contingent election is...

An Obama nominee. Wow! Going against Abrams. And her sister backing down, also. Think it is getting toasty for Stacy in Georgia.

Silly me, it says it right there.

We probably won’t have a Deadlock. But it would be nice if Pennsylvania would withdraw their certified boats...or a combination of the others.
