I think it is higher than that.
There are a LOT of Bush, McCain, and Romney loyalists out there. We are talking about two former Presidents in the Bush family, and two loser GOP POTUS candidates. That buys a man a LOT of influence.
Many Representatives went and resigned before the 2018 election. Paul Ryan is doing as much as he can to sabotage Trump from his post at Fox News. Virtually nobody from the GOP is helping Trump.
All of that indicates that a lot more than 20% are involved. Many might talk a big game about supporting Trump, but their actions are speaking a hell of a lot louder than their words.
If they screw Trump, anyone that donates so much as a $3 bill to the GOP is complicit in this scam. That party is a frigging joke. Most are either as corrupt as the Dems or frigging spineless.
Sadly, you are probably right.
Politics in the USA have become so corrupted that virtually everyone in politics has decided to play the game.
So here we are.
We surrender and continue a peaceful slow boil, or we fight and tear the entire machine apart while creating a very bloody affair.
